Released as the second single from Taylor Swifts’s 1989 album, Blank Space follows in the footsteps of Shake It Off, further reinforcing her stature as a mainstream Pop superstar.

Co-written by Max Martin, Shellback, and Taylor Swift (all of whom wrote Shake It Off), Blank Space contains all of the hit songwriting characteristics that you would expect a team of this caliber to provide: fresh and memorable melodies, clever lyrics filled with detail, imagery and emotion, a myriad of hooks, multiple payoffs and the perfect balance of repetition and contrast, just to name a few of many.

To date, Blank Space has landed in the top 10 on over 25 charts throughout the world, reaching #1 on nine of them.
